For the past decade, Tim has increasingly focused on alternative dispute resolution, receiving training in both Mediation and Arbitration. He has successfully mediated or arbitrated numerous civil and domestic relations cases involving partnership dissolutions, boundary disputes, business failures, brokerage commission claims, marital dissolutions, property settlements, and child custody and visitation disputes.
Through his work in the nonprofit sector, Tim has facilitated Board and Staff retreats, chaired a number of public and private Task Forces, and consulted with scores of tax exempt organizations. He has served as a founding Board member and Chair or President of several organizations including The Land and Water Fund of the Rockies, Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, Roaring Fork Legal Services, the Public Justice Foundation, Public Counsel of the Rockies, and the Pitkin County Bar Association.
In addition to his five children and six grandchildren, Tim enjoys snowboarding, whitewater rafting, hiking, and a variety of horse sports.
